Most room listings show a photograph and a price and leave the rest to your imagination. This page puts the numbers next to the pictures, for all seven rooms in both buildings.
Two things are true of every one of them, so they are stated once rather than seven times: each is a private bedroom in a four-bedroom suite, and one bathroom serves those four bedrooms. There is no private-bathroom option in either building.

The bigger of the two, with the fitness centre, the two laundry rooms and the lounge — and the cheapest rooms we let.
Flex Basic — $560 every four weeks ($140/week), 180 sq ft
The cheapest room in either building, and the first to go each year.
The smallest of the seven. A full bed with linens, a study desk, a desk lamp and shelving, in a room measured at 180 square feet. If your priority is the lowest all-in figure in Garneau, this is it. Full details.
Flex Plus — $660 every four weeks ($165/week), 225 sq ft
Forty-five square feet more than the Flex Basic, for $100 more every four weeks.
The middle of the Garneau range and one of the two types offered on the summer term. Full details.
Deluxe — $800 every four weeks ($200/week), 235 sq ft
The largest measured room at Garneau Towers, and the other summer-term type.
University Tower · 8515 112 St NW
On the campus boundary. Every room here costs more than its Garneau equivalent, and the reason is the walk: the Education building is five minutes and the hospital four, against seven and six from Garneau Towers.
Flex Basic — $700 every four weeks ($175/week)
The cheapest way to be on the campus boundary.
Flex Plus — $800 every four weeks ($200/week)
Flex Balcony — $820 every four weeks ($205/week)
The only rooms in either building with a private balcony.
There is no equivalent at Garneau Towers, which makes this the one room type with no substitute if it is what you want. Full details.

On the blanks: the University Tower rooms are not measured on our own room pages, so we are not going to quote a figure for them here. If floor area is what decides it for you, ask and we will measure the specific room before you commit — a number we made up would be worse than an empty cell.
What is in every one of them
A full bed with linens, made up before you arrive. A study desk, a desk lamp, shelving. Most types add a wall-mounted television. The suite’s kitchen and its dining or sitting area are furnished.
Heat, water, power and Wi-Fi are in the rent, along with laundry in the building and on-site maintenance. No utility bill, no service fee, no application fee. What “furnished” should mean covers the checking version of that list.
The two questions the photographs cannot answer
How the suite feels with four people in it at 8am. Room photographs are taken empty; suites are not lived in empty.
Whether the room is available on your date. The cheapest and the closest go first, and there is no application deadline forcing anyone’s hand.
Both are answered in ten minutes on a tour — in person, or over video if you are in another time zone.
